Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel began as a mission chapel in Twin City, Georgia, served by the clergy of the CMRI, and has now become a full time parish in Swainsboro, Georgia attached to the traditional Carmelite Monastery of St. Joseph.
Built in 2024 with the first masses on December 3rd & 4th, 2024, we moved locations to Swainsboro in June 2026 with the arrival of the Carmelite sisters and our pastor, Fr. Carlos Zepeda. We now have Sunday mass at 9am and daily mass at 8am.
